The Bharat Scouts and Guides was established in SHIS in 2014 with the motto of ‘Profess Godliness with good works’. The mission of this international movement is to contribute to the kids education, through a value system following the three principles

1. Duty to God
2. Duty to others and
3. Duty to self

In Scared Heart International School, “The Bharat Scout and Guides functions as two units bearing the name ‘Abraham Scout Troop’ for the scouts and Vasantha Abraham Scout Company, for the Guides.

Course for Scouts and Guides:-

1. Pravesh
2. Pratham Sopan
3. Dwitiya Sopan
4. Tritiya Sopan
5. Rajya Puraskar Award
6. Rashtrapathi Award.

Details of the course:-

1. Pravesh:-
   To be a member of scout and guides, students must work for atleast three months and attend four Troop / Company meetings.
2. Pratham Sopan:-
   The Scouts / Guides will work at least for six months to qualify for Pratham Sopan.
3. Dwititya Sopan:-
   The Scouts / Guides will work at least for six months to qualify for Dwitiya Sopan.
4. Tritiya Sopan:-
   The Scouts / Guides will work for at least six months to qualify for Tritiya Sopan.
5. Rajya Puraskar:-
   The Scouts / Guides will work for at least nine months to qualify for Rajya Puraskar Badge.
6. Rashtrapati:-
   The Scouts / Guides will work for at least twelve months to appear for Rashtrapati award test.
