KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM
Research and curriculum experiences underline the crucial importance of early years in the child’s developmental experience. The rate of maturation and development and the pace of learning are greater during these years than at any subsequent period in the child’s life. The child’s experience of learning in the early years has a profound influence on later learning.
Sacred Heart International School follows the Modern Montessori International method of teaching learning at the KG level further strengthened by Nature Nurture Learning programme.
NatureNurture’s Integrated Curriculum followed at Sacred Heart International School is a well-structured, carefully planned, accountable and appropriate curriculum that incorporates the best pedagogic practices keeping in mind learners’ multiple intelligences and learning styles. This curriculum is based on the belief that the ‘Child is the Curriculum’ and has been designed after much research and development. It is built not on the idea of separate subjects, but on the much more fertile idea of disciplines, which makes possible a fluid and dynamic curriculum that is interdisciplinary.
