    The council for conducting Grade 10 & 12 Examinations in India was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate . In 1973 the Council became an independent body for conducting public examinations in India and renamed as Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE). The curriculum of ISCE is akin to that of GCSE, The British system of public examinations. The ICSE Examination, therefore, have got an extensive and wide recognition in the foreign countries.

    SHIS is an ISO 21001-2018 certified institution. It is a quality management system standard for providers of education and training services. The process of certification takes into consideration all relevant areas of school quality –including the quality of both management and staff- among others. We are the first school in Tamil Nadu receiving this prestigious standardization, established in 2018, exclusively for the educational institutions.
