Socially responsible citizens of the world
SHIS wants our pupil to develop into socially responsible citizens of the world. We consider it is important that our students understand the importance of helping others. By supporting others, they learn to recognize their own strengths & weakness and see the world through the eyes of others and understand the plight of fellow beings beyond any discriminations and boundaries.
Your droplets of blood may create an ocean of happiness

“Your droplets of blood may create an ocean of happiness.” The reason to donate is simple — it helps save lives.
SHIS, renowned for its exemplary practices, as part of its social commitment and fulfilling a civic duty, organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with NIMS, Neyyatinkara, Trivandrum on 08/07/2023. The event was a resounding triumph with active participation from our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff and parents.

A helping hand to the community
Kits, including things for daily needs, were distributed to a number of families who were suffering and finding it difficult to meet their daily needs in and around the school. Similarly, the SHIS team conducted a survey, found the needy in the rural areas and reached out to them.

Digital classrooms, shared
SHIS extends support to other schools in the field of modern technology and education — providing the equipment and devices needed to set up digital classrooms that promote digital teaching and learning.
